The Gatuya Coffee Factory is located centrally, 100km north of the Kenyan Capital, Nairobi. Gatuya is one of two stations that make up the New Murarandia Farmers Cooperative Society. The Cooperative is roughly 3,500 smallholder producers. Each farmer owns about 1/5th to 1/3rd of a hectare and delivers coffee in cherry to the factory.
A well balanced coffee with a complex lively acidity and plenty of sweetness to back it up.
