Alejandro’s farm is located in the municipality of San Pedro Néctor, within the department of Huehuetenango. The nearly 2 hectare farm located at the base of the mountains is named “Chejoj”. Translated from Mayan language of the Mam people, it means “land of horses and large birds”.

Coffee on his farm is picked and pulped on the same day. Once fermented for 24-35 hours, the coffee is then washed three times before being dried for 3.5-5 days.
