With several Cup of Excellence and regional competition winning lots, Finca Rio Dorado has continued to produce excellent coffees since its founding in 2004. Situated in Mataquescuintla in the Oriente coffee-growing region of Guatemala, Finca Rio Dorado is a 20-hectare farm that grows Gesha, Pacamara, Catuai, Pache and Bourbon varieties. This particular lot is the prized Gesha variety, notably processed using anaerobic fermentation giving it a distinctly fruity flavour profile reminiscent of fresh strawberries and apricot with sweetness of sugary praline.
