French Press Brewing Guide

French Press Brewing Guide

If you prefer a rich, full-bodied brew with depth and texture, the French press remains a simple and reliable choice. With a coarse grind and long steep, this method draws out rounded flavours and satisfying weight.

French Press – Kettle – Grinder – Scales – Fresh Coffee

Add 30g of coarsely ground coffee to your French press. Pour 500ml of hot water evenly over the grounds and give a gentle stir.

Place the lid on without pressing the plunger and allow to steep for 4 minutes. After steeping, press the plunger down slowly and smoothly. Pour immediately to prevent over-extraction.

Expect a warm, full-flavoured cup with a comforting mouthfeel.
