The Serra da Canastra farm is a benchmark for quality coffee production in the Cerrado Mineiro region due to its privileged location on fertile land, abundant water source, perfectly moderate micro climate, sitting at altitudes between 1200 - 1300 meters above sea level. Edson Luiz Ignacio is the farm owner at Canastra who is leading the region in care and maintenance for the local fauna and flora, employing biodynamic agricultural practices wherever possible throughout the 1000 hectare plots of coffee trees. 

The preservation of the local ecosystem guarantees a high level of soil fertility, which pairs beautifully with the Catucai variety, known for its inherently sweet and fragrant characteristics. All of these aspects at Serra da Canastra combine for an elevated sensory experience from the specialty coffee produced here, that truly reflect the richness in the soil and the environment in which it is grown.
