In 2025 we are excited to introduce grower and manager Danilo Barbosa from the Sucuri Farm in Brazil. This stunning lot of naturally processed Yellow Catuaí stays true to the profile of The Smith with an elevated focus on quality in the cup.

Sucuri  is known for their forward thinking approach to land management, boasting over 700 hectares dedicated to environmental preservation. The indigenous flora and fauna contribute to the wellbeing of the land. Initiatives such as regular tree planting and beekeeping assist in maintaining healthy soils and rich microbial populations. Danilo has created a truly biodiverse agricultural space at Sucuri and as a consequence, has significantly reduced the need for chemical pesticides.

This coffee is a shining example of high quality yellow fruit from the Cerrado Mineiro region that tastes like stone fruit, hazelnut, and brown sugar.
